Swiss specialty chemicals producer Clariant AG plans to provide an update on its partnership with Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) in September, Reuters reported, citing Chief Executive Hariolf Kottmann.
“We see the commitment of this company as very positive and have already begun talks about our future closer cooperation,” Kottmann said during Clariant’s annual general assembly meeting on Monday.
“In September we will be able to give you an update of the results to date,” he added.
SABIC bought a 25 percent stake in Clariant in January.
Clariant manufactures specialty chemicals, and operates via four segments: care chemicals, catalysis, natural resources, and plastics and coatings.
