Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Zakat and Tax (GAZT) will organize several workshops on filing value-added tax (VAT) returns for businesses in various chambers of commerce across the Kingdom.
The first two workshops will be held tomorrow, March 12 and on Thursday, March 15 in the Chambers of Hafr Al-Batin and Al-Madinah, respectively, the tax authority said in a statement on Sunday.
The move aims to help businesses understand VAT payment mechanisms and the procedures required for filing VAT returns on time.
Under the new law, all VAT registered enterprises, with supplies exceeding SAR 40 million annually, are required to file their tax returns on a monthly basis, Argaam earlier reported.
Enterprises whose supplies of goods and services total SAR 40 million or less are required to file tax returns every 3 months.
