Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) has launched a new public transport service in Riyadh and Jeddah, state-run news agency SPA has reported citing Ahmed AlJohani, executive vice president.
The company announced this week that it will take part in a wide-scale public transport system applied by the government in Riyadh and Jeddah.
It announced yesterday the signing of a SAR 73 million deal with Riyadh city's development commission to provide buses and operate public transport services in the two cities.
“The company has developed integrated operating plans, sourced new buses and converted to new operating and online payment systems”, AlJohani told the news agency.
