Foreign investors hiked stakes in 56 listed firms on Monday

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) increased their stakes in 56 Tadawul-listed firms on Monday, Feb. 12, while 48 companies saw foreign investors cutting stakes, market data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

Al Tayyar Travel Group, MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Co., Saudi Indian Co. for Cooperative Insurance (Wafa), and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co. (Shaker) were among the top companies seeing further purchases by foreign investors. 

 

 Foreign investors raised their shareholdings in Al Tayyar by 0.09 percent, and in MetLife AIG ANB, Wafa, and Shaker by 0.05 percent each.

Meanwhile, Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance Co. and The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MedGulf) saw the highest stock sales by foreign investors, with QFIs offloading 0.35 percent and 0.15 percent of their holdings respectively.
