Savola Group's board of directors has appointed Ammr Bin Khaled Kurdi as a member of the audit committee until the end of the current term on June 30, 2019, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday.
Kurdi will replace Khalid Mohammed Al-Sulaia, who resigned from the committee on Oct. 29, 2017, following his appointment as a board member of the Capital Market Authority (CMA).
Kurdi is currently chief financial officer of Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company, and a member of the audit committee in a number of joint stock companies.
The new appointment will be presented at the general assembly meeting for approval, Savola said.
