The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co.’s (MedGulf) shares will remain placed under a trading halt until the end of today’s session, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) said in a statement.
The suspension will be lifted tomorrow, Feb. 8, the statement added.
Earlier today CMA said MedGulf’s shares will be suspended from 10:20 am to 1:30 pm, upon MedGulf’s request ahead of revealing an important announcement.
MedGulf’s stock jumped 5 percent to nearly SAR 20 before the trading halt.
