Taiba Holding appoints chairman, board for new term

Taiba Holding Co.’s board of directors on Wednesday appointed Walid Al Essa as chairman and Anas Saerafi as deputy chairman of the board for the upcoming three-year term starting on Jan. 1, 2018, the company said in a bourse statement.

Meanwhile, shareholders have elected board members for the upcoming term, the company said in a separate statement.

The new board will include Anas Saerafi, Basel Jabr, Turki Al Sudairy, Abdulaziz Al Duailej, Ghassan Shalabi, Feras Al Qurashi, Mohammed Al Grainees, Mohanad Al Azzawi and Walid Al-Essa.

Shareholders also approved updated regulations for the nominations and remuneration committee, amended policies of board membership, and the remuneration policy for board members and executives.
