Jazan Development rebrands into Jazan Energy and Development

Jazan Development Co.’s shareholders have approved changing the company’s name to Jazan Energy and Development, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

The decision came during the extraordinary general meeting held on Dec. 19.

 

The rebranding reflects the company’s new business activities, which it will undertake in addition to its current operations.

 

The new activities to be added include producing and transferring energy of all kinds, as well as environmental, water desalination, and other activities that serve the city of Jazan, the Saudi-listed firm had said earlier.
