State-owned Saudi Aramco has delivered one million barrels of crude oil to the Egyptian refineries in November and December, Reuters reported on Sunday, citing Egypt’s Petroleum Minister, Tarek El Molla.
Both countries will be studying the economic feasibility of refining Saudi crude in Egyptian refineries in early 2018, El Molla added.
The world’s largest oil exporter signed a $23 billion deal in April 2016 with state-run Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) to supply the North African country with 700,000 tons of oil products monthly over a five-year period, Argaam reported.
