Over 1,800 regional and international digital professionals and entrepreneurs gathered at ArabNet Riyadh today to discuss the future of digital business in the region, the event organizers said in a statement.
Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and hosted by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), the conference kicked off with Founders’ Day on Monday, Dec. 11. The main conference started on Dec. 12 at the Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski.
The event will continue for another day, with more than 20 sessions to go, and invitation-only workshops for the banking sector covering two key trends: blockchain and best practices in lead generation and CRM.
The second day of the forum also features one-on-one interviews with top e-commerce and banking leaders, including Ronaldo Mouchawar, CEO and co-founder of Souq.com; Faraz Khalid, CEO of Noon; and Omar Hashem, EVP Head of Digital Banking Division at The National Commercial Bank.
