Contractor sacked from Rabigh waterfront project

Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, deputy governor of Makkah region, has ordered the dismissal of the contractor working on the Rabigh waterfront development due to poor quality of work, especially on roads and pavements.

 

The announcement came during the prince’s visit to Rabigh, where he inspected a number of projects as well as some industrial companies there, according to a statement on the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

 

The Rabigh waterfront project is located on an area of ​​120,000 square meters. The project is 95 percent complete so far, SPA said.

 

During his visit, Prince Abdullah also issued directives to form a working team in coordination with the companies operating in Rabigh to map out a social services program.
