SAGIA says 462 US firms operating in Saudi Arabia

The number of US firms operating in Saudi Arabia rose to 462 in December, with a total capital of SAR 56.7 billion, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA).

 

About 78 percent of the US investments are in the industrial sector with aggregate capital of SAR 44.2 billion, SAGIA added.

 

Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Co. (YANPET) has the highest number of US investors, with total company’s financing of SAR 19.3 billion. Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Co. has a total financing of SAR 9.4 billion.
