Saudi utility provider, Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) has inked a cooperation agreement with Hungarian MVM Groups to boost scientific research in the field of power generation, conventional and renewable energy, training, as well as project development locally and worldwide, according to a statement.
The agreement was signed by Khaled Abdulrahman, executive director of power systems & smart grid technology at SEC and Janos Zsuga, chief executive officer at MVM Groups.
The agreement is aimed at laying out an integrated framework for mutual cooperation as regards technical fields, network upgrade, generation of conventional as well as renewable energy, in addition to exchanging expertise between both countries in line with Saudi Vision 2030, stated Abdulrahman.
The agreement comes in line with SEC’s accelerated strategic transformation program, which was launched in 2014, he added.
SEC has inked several agreements and partnership deals with training and research firms in the field of power industry.
