The number of Saudi employees in the workforce stood at 1.95 million by the end of October, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development said in a statement.
As many as 64,000 nationals were hired in September and October, of which males accounted for 31,000, while females constituted 33,000.
The ministry had earlier launched six initiatives to improve the labor market performance and raise its efficiency.
The Kingdom aims to reduce unemployment to 7 percent under Vision 2030, Argaam earlier reported.
