Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Co. (SAMREF) unveiled plans today to shut down its entire oil refinery in Yanbu for a scheduled maintenance starting of March 10, 2018, Reuters has reported, citing unnamed sources.
The regular maintenance in the 400,000-barrels-per-day refinery will last until April 30.
The last time a complete shutdown took place was in 2013.
The refinery, which is owned by Aramco and ExxonMobil, produces gasoline, jet fuel, gas oil, and other products.
