Saudi Arabia to issue tourist visas in 2018

Saudi Arabia is likely to introduce tourist visas next year, Prince Sultan bin Salman, head of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), told CNN in an interview.

 

Prince Sultan added that he hopes visas will be granted through online applications.

 

The tourism authority aims to attract more investors, Prince Sultan said, adding that decisions and funding were late, compared to other countries in the Gulf have raised the challenge to attract more tourists.
