Saudi Crown Prince launches PIF’s ‘Future Investment Initiative’ today

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and chairman of the Council of Economic Development Affairs, will open today the “Future Investment Initiative”, organized by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

 

Held in Riyadh, from Oct. 24 to Oct. 26, the initiative will highlight future mega projects, as a basic part of the Saudi Vision 2030, the sovereign wealth fund said in a statement.

 

More than 2,500 business and financial leaders from over 60 countries will come together to discuss future market opportunities, challenges to global economy and the investment climate over the next decades.

 

Participants include Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund; Khalid A. Al-Falih, the Saudi minister of energy, industry and mineral resources; Yasir Al-Rumayyan, managing director of the PIF, and Amin Nasser, chief executive and president of giant oil producer Saudi Aramco.
