Saudi health ministry to pay delayed wages soon: report

Saudi Arabia’s health ministry will soon start paying workers' delayed wages and will also retroactively pay allowances for health practitioners within two weeks, Al-Yaum daily reported on Wednesday, citing

unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.

 

Health minister Tawfiq Al Rabiah said that the ministry has held talks with the finance ministry to receive support and pay overdue wages.

 

Meanwhile, workers' allowances will be paid immediately going forward, the sources added.
