Dubai-listed Damac Properties has awarded more than 370 contracts worth AED 3.5 billion since January 2017, the developer said in a statement.

The contracts included construction, supplier and consultancy services across its portfolio of developments.

The majority of contracts awarded this year – a total of AED 1.8 billion – were for Damac’s 55-million square foot Akoya Oxygen master development, on which construction is ongoing.

The developer awarded contracts valued at AED 127 million for the Damac Hills community since January this year.

In addition, Damac awarded global contractor Multiplex an AED 1.14 billion construction contract for the developer’s luxury residential project, Aykon London One, in the United Kingdom.

Other than the United Arab Emirates and the UK, Damac also has ongoing projects in Saudi Arabia, in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah.
