Oman has postponed announcing the winner of its third mobile license to Nov. 30, instead of Sep. 4, Al Arabiya reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Telecom Co. (STC), United Arab Emirates-based Etisalat Group, and Sudan’s Sudatel Telecom Group have bid for this license, Argaam previously reported.
The winning telecom will join Oman’s two existing mobile operators Omantel and Oman Qatari Telecommunications Co. (Ooredoo Oman).
