Kingdom Holding denies stake buy in Russian bank

Kingdom Holding Co. (KHC) has denied media reports that chairman Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal has expressed interest in buying a stake in any Russian bank.

 

According to the company’s statement, Prince Alwaleed met with Alexey Khotin, owner of Four Seasons Hotel Moscow, on August 12 and the two discussed plans to develop luxury apartments at the hotel and explore opportunities to invest in Russia. 

 

It was earlier reported that Prince Alwaleed had expressed interest in buying a stake in Russia's Bank Jugra.
