King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) has awarded De Boer Middle East a contract to build King Abdullah Exhibition Center, one of the region’s largest semi-permanent exhibition halls, which will be located north of Jeddah.
The hall will have an area of 6,500 square meters and will have a lifespan of 5 to 10 years.
“The city can expect to be delivering exhibitions and events by October,” De Boer’s business development director Edward Gallagher said in a statement.
One of the key features of the project is sustainability adding insulated wall panels that will reduce air conditioning requirements, as well as a portable structure that can be dismantled and reused in another location.
