Saudi Arabia’s National Agricultural Development Co. (Nadec) is planning a $200 million biomass plant, which will be fired by excrement from its cattle, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The company is said to be in talks with potential developers to build the plant.
Nadec has also initiated discussions with a group of local banks to raise funds for the project, which will include a solar plant on the farm, the people said.
