Mobily most complained about telco in Q1, says CITC

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) has been the most complained about mobile services provider in Q1 2017, according to data compiled by the Saudi Arabia's Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC). 

 

Zain Saudi’s mobile internet services received the most complaints out of the top three telcos in the Kingdom.

 

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) came first in terms of fixed-line internet complaints, CITC added.

 

The telecom industry regulator received 16,272 complaints against telecom service providers in the first quarter of the year.

 

A total of 9,643 complaints were related to mobile phone providers.

 

About 1,989 complaints were filed about fixed-line services.

 

CITC said the data gathered aims to provide subscribers with transparent information on the performance of service providers in regards to following up on complaints and service quality.
