Saudi Arabia launched on Tuesday six field surveys targeting over 45,000 institutions to develop and set various economic indicators, the General Authority for Statistics (GAS) said on its official Twitter account.

Data will be collected by more than 700 surveyors about employment and wages, economic indicators, industrial production, retail activity, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and domestic trade.

All surveys will be completed by Aug. 22, GAS added.
