Saudi Arabia imported commodities worth SAR 37 bln in February

Saudi Arabia imported SAR 36.6 billion worth of commodities in February 2017, data from the Central Department of Statistics and Information showed.

 

Jeddah Islamic Port recorded the highest imports of SAR 11.2 billion, or 31 percent of the Kingdom’s total imports, in February.

 

King Abdulaziz Port Dammam came in second with 22 percent, followed by King Khalid International Airport Riyadh (9 percent), King Abdulaziz International Airport (9 percent), and Batha Port (8 percent).

 

Together, the five ports accounted for 78 percent of Saudi Arabia’s commodity imports in February.
