Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Housing is seeking state-of-the-art construction technologies to cut costs and provide affordable products as soon as possible, housing minister, Majed Al Hogail, told Al-Ekhbariya TV on Tuesday.
By using new technologies, construction of new homes will take six months, instead of two or three years.
The ministry is targeting to deliver 120,000 units under “Sakani” housing scheme. Unit prices will range between SAR 250,000 and SAR 750,000 per unit in the current year.
Al Hogail added that he will meet with several US developers to discuss potential investments and projects in the Kingdom in the near term.
