Saudi Arabia’s Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) has lifted its ban on Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. from issuing insurance policies, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul on Tuesday.
Amana Insurance will be able to issue new policies starting April 24, as it has managed to fulfill regulatory requirements, the statement said, adding that the company was approved by the CCHI secretariat general for a three-year term.
Last June, the insurer was suspended by CCHI from issuing new policies due to repeated violations.
