National Medical Care Co.’s extraordinary general assembly approved on Thursday withholding dividend for fiscal year 2016, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The decision came as part of the company’s strategy to maintain liquidity and continue expanding the National Hospital by adding 224 beds and upgrading medical equipment.
During the meeting, shareholders also approved SAR 1.8 million in board remuneration for the same period and appointed Mohammed Al Omari and Co.as external auditors for fiscal year 2017.
Moreover, the company approved extending contracts with the General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), Drager Co. and Arabian Medical Hospital Supply Company Limited for an additional year.
Care approved a cash dividend of SAR 0.75 per share for FY15 and SAR 1.55 per share for FY14.
