Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.
1) Saudi Arabia’s non-oil growth slowed down slightly in March, with the kingdom’s Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) dropping to 56.4, from 57.0 the previous month, Emirates NBD said in a report on Tuesday.
2) United Wire Factories Co. (Aslak) will pay H2-2016 dividend through Al Rajhi Bank by depositing dividends in shareholder portfolios on April 10.
3) Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) has fully repaid the first tranche of a $500 million sukuk issued on April 4, 2012, which was listed on London Stock Exchange (LSE), the company said on Monday.
4) National Medical Care Co. (Care) has been awarded a SAR 66.1 million contract to provide medical services to long-stay patients at the Ministry of National Guard’s King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC).
5) Saudi Transport and Investment Co. (Mubarrad) approved on Monday a plan to change the company’s name to BATIC Investment and Logistics
6) Alinma Tokio Marine Co. has obtained approval from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on its new commercial credit insurance product.
7) Oil prices were down this morning. Brent crude fell 0.5 percent to $52.84/bbl while WTI crude was last 0.5 percent down to $49.98/bbl.
