A fire broke out early on Sunday morning at a high-rise complex under construction close to Dubai Mall, the Dubai Media Office said in a statement on its official Twitter account.
The blaze at the Fountain Views complex in Downtown Dubai was contained by the Dubai Civil Defense, the statement added.
No injuries were reported, the Media Office said, adding that cooling operations are currently underway and ambulance units are on-site.
The Fountain Views development consists of three 60-storey towers being built by Dubai-listed developer Emaar Properties. It is located close to The Address Downtown Dubai, which was heavily damaged by a large fire on New Year’s Eve 2015.
