Saudi Arabia’s telecom regulator has signed an agreement with Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain Saudi) on developing phase I of the broadband coverage expansion project in the kingdom, according to a statement.
Zain is set to increase high-speed broadband services coverage in the kingdom’s unpopulated areas to 70 percent by 2020 through boosting infrastructure investments, in addition to providing services to more than 140,000 citizens.
