Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) and King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) have joined hands with ten other prominent national companies to set up the Saudi Sustainable Development Association, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The partnership will unite Saudi firms’ efforts to enhance corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, said Bassam Al-Bokhari, vice president of industrial relations at Petro Rabigh and board chairman of the nssociation.
It will also enable the private sector to participate in development, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Meanwhile, Fahd Hamidaddin, chief commercial officer at KAEC and vice chairman of the association, said that the new entity’s role will be based on strategic plans to enhance human resources.
