Al Tayyar Travel Group signed deals worth SAR 5 billion with three Hajj and Umrah tour operators in Indonesia on Thursday, Saudi channel Alekhbariah reported.
The company signed the agreements during King Salman’s visit to the Islamic country, which is part of a month-long Asian tour aiming at building bilateral ties and promoting investment opportunities in the kingdom.
King Salman will be in Indonesia for 12 days, and has signed 11 pacts with the country thus far, agencies reported.
The deals include agreements to dismantle trade barriers, and a Saudi pledge to provide $1 billion to Indonesia to finance development in the country.
The two countries affirmed the planned $6 billion refinery joint venture agreement between Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) and Indonesian oil company Pertamina in Cilacap in central Java, according to news reports.
