Al-Sorayai expects Yanbu plant to go online in Sept. 2016

Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group Co. said its calcium carbonate manufacturing facility at Yanbu is expected to start production in September 2016.

 

The project has been delayed from the third quarter 2014 due to changes in designs and production lines that were required for increasing output from 180,000 tons per annum (tpa) to 230,000 tpa, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Thursday.

 

The textile manufacturer expects to see a positive financial impact from the project in Q4-2016.
