Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) has won an extension in the deadline to prepare a written response to Saudi Zain in the dispute over the amounts owed by Zain to Mobily.
Mobily said in a statement to Tadawul Sunday that the arbitration tribunal has extended the deadline by 15 days starting from the initial date that was assigned for the reply, to allow the company’s new executive management to study the case and prepare a written response to the legal documents provided by Zain.
Mobily has been in arbitration with Saudi Zain, the kingdom's third-largest operator, since last year over SAR 2.2 billion Mobily says it is owed as of November 2013, under a 2008 contract by which the former would provide services including domestic roaming and site sharing to the latter, which began commercial operations that year.
