Demand for cement in Saudi Arabia will improve in the long-term due to government spending on infrastructure and housing projects, Aljazira Capital said in a report.
Aljazira added that cement sales dropped 17.6 percent in June compared to May due to the lull during Ramadan as well as the cyclic nature of demand for cement.
Meanwhile, June sales volumes in 2015 were slightly less than in June 2014 due to a shortage of labor in the past year, the investment firm said.
