Mohammed Al-Suwaiyel, Saudi Arabia’s minister of communications and information technology, has urged local telecom operators to provide the best services and deals to their clients.

His comments came on Wednesday in a meeting with the heads of STC, Mobily, and Zain, the kingdom’s three operators.

Those attending the meeting all agreed to provide better network coverage, and to work towards eliminating anonymous or unknown SIM cards sold in the market.

The minister also asked the companies to pay more attention to the information technology sector, as well as information security and protection.
