TASI snaps losses with 0.3% gain; turnover at 8-month low

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) bucked a two-session downtrend on Monday, inching 0.3 percent, or 29 points, higher to 8,619. 
 
The value of shares changing hands declined to nearly SAR 5.3 billion, the lowest level in eight months.
 
SABIC and Al-Rajhi added one percent. Saudi Telecom finished two percent up at SAR 61.50.
 
Amana Insurance and Malath Insurance were the top movers to the upside, surging their daily limit. Petrochem also jumped over four percent to SAR 23.69. 
 
Meanwhile, Arabian Cement and Northern Cement slid 4.7 percent and 4.5 percent to SAR 72.37 and SAR 21.30, respectively, as the shares traded ex-dividend.
