Saudi-based banks handed out SAR 1.278 trillion in loans to privately-held companies by the end of February, an 11 percent rise from SAR 1.148 trillion during the same period last year.
Credit to the public sector grew to SAR 97.5 billion for the same period, compared to SAR 96.6 billion in February 2014, according to the monthly bulletin issued by the Saudi central bank.
