Saudi Pipeline to launch commercial production of coating plant in Q2

Saudi Steel Pipeline Co. (SSP) said on Monday​ the trial run of its pipe coating plant with diameters up to 30 inches has been completed. 

 

The project will come on stream in the second quarter of this year. 

 

Trial operations are still ​on going o​n the steel pipe plant with diameters up to eight inches. Testing will end by the second and third quarters, then the unit will get into gear. Rehabilitation procedures will be taken by petroleum companies, the company said in a statement.
