SABIC aims to be world’s top petrochemicals, plastic provider by 2025

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) aims to be the number one supplier of petrochemicals and plastics in the world by 2025, according to Mosaed Al-Ohali, executive vice president of polymers.
 
Al-Ohali said that achieving this objective will increase the company’s share in the market, which in turn will have a positive impact on financial revenues. 
 
“This will also have an added value on shareholders, employees, and the society in general,” Aljazeera newspaper quoted Al-Ohali as saying.
 
The executive vice president also said that his company is aiming to be distinguished in several other sectors; such as transportation, telecommunication, energy and preservations, and healthcare.
