Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Company has finalized procedures for two government contracts valued at 348.1 million, the company said in a statement on Sunday to Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.
One of the projects finalized— valued at SAR 313.2 million— had been inked with the health ministry for the construction of a maternity and pediatrics hospital with a capacity of 200 beds in Saudi’s Ar Rass town in Al Qassim province.
While its financial impact had already started to materialize during the first quarter of last year, the project is set to be completed within 36 months from the date of site handling.
The contractor also completed procedures for the second phase of the Support Deanship Building at Taibah University, which should be completed 15 months from the date of site handling. The contract, awarded by the education ministry, is valued at SAR 34.9 million.
The work is part of the kingdom’s plan to expand and improve higher education facilities nationwide.
Financial impact for this project had already started to materialize during the second quarter of last fiscal year, the company added.
