Advanced Petrochemical Co. said on Thursday that it plans to start scheduled maintenance at its Jubail-based Propylene & Polypropylene plants on March, which will last for three weeks.
The maintenance period is not expected to weigh on production or revenue, as it is a routine measure that is planned in advance, the company said in a bourse statement.
However, the impact of the shutdown on both production volume and forecasted revenue was priced in when preparing this fiscal year’s balance sheet.
Financial impact will be reflected in first quarter 2015 statements, based on feedstock and Polypropylene expected netbacks.
