Takween gets nod for Savola packaging unit acquisition

Takween Advanced Industries Co. said the Saudi Council of Competition (COC) approved on Tuesday its acquisition of Savola Packaging Systems Co, the company said to Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.

Savola signed in December an agreement with Takween to sell its entire stake in Savola Packaging for SAR 910 million, according to data available on Argaam.
