The assets of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), the kingdom’s central bank, rose to around SAR 2.801 trillion in July-- six billion riyals above June 2014 figures, the bank said in a monthly report.
The central bank’s assets climbed in July by SAR 195 billion compared to the same month last year.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, more than 70 percent of its total assets, climbed to SAR 2.068 trillion by end of July, nine percent higher than the same month in 2013, continuing an uptrend for 54 months in a row.
