Saudi Steel Pipe completes construction work & starts trial operation of its polysilicon plant

Saudi Steel Pipe Co., Saudi Anabeeb, has started a 6-month trial operation of its Polysilicon Technology Company in Jubail Industrial City II after completing construction and installations work of the plant, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

 

 

The project is a joint venture of South Korea’s KCC Corporation to produce solar grade polysilicon, the material used in the manufacture of solar energy products.

 

Saudi Anabeeb owns indirectly a 5 percent stake in the project that aims at diversifying its income.
