Fire breaks out in Halwani’s branch in Medina, losses estimated at SAR 2.2m

Halwani Brothers Company said that a fire broke out this morning in its branch in Medina including the distribution warehouse and the administrative office.
 

The site was totally damaged and there were no human losses; the company said in its filing to Tadawul today.


The reasons of the fire are still under investigations and losses were assessed at SAR 2.2m.


The site is fully insured and the financial impact of this fire will not be reflected on Q4-2014’s financials as the company will continue its business through Jeddah and Yanbu branches.
