The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) extended its memorandum of understanding with Saudi Aramco and Sembcorp Marine Ltd. for its feasibility assessments to develop a world-class maritime yard in the kingdom.

The MoU has been extended until Oct. 29, 2015 in order to give relevant parties ample time to complete the studies for the project, the company said to Tadawul on Sunday.

Bahri first announced its plans for the project in August 2013, according to data available on Argaam.
