Al-Sorayai’s calcium bicarbonates plant to be functional in Q3, 2015

Al-Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group said its Jeddah-based calcium bicarbonate plant will be operational in the third quarter of 2015.

The project’s completion date was delayed due to the change of location from Yanbu Industrial City to Jeddah for reasons related to feasibility, a filing to Tadawul said.

The company expected a financial impact in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The project’s 22,000 square meters site in Jeddah was allocated to Al-Sorayai in August.
